2025 Ram 1500

2025 Ram 1500

We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the now-available 2025 Ram 1500. We don’t have word yet on whether or not the Ram 1500 Classic will be returning for the 2025 model year, but we’re happy to share some of the major changes and updates to the 2025 Ram 1500.

Trims

The newest 1500 model swaps out its top-of-the-line TRX trim for the all-new Ram 1500 Tungsten. The G/T Package for the Laramie and Rebel, Sports Appearance Package, and Night Edition options stick around in the new model year, but there are also some special edition changes. For example, there’s now a Laramie Southwest Edition and a Rebel X Edition. Additionally, the Limited and Limited Longhorn swap places in the trim lineup.

Performance

While trims and editions are significant, the most notable change in the 2025 model year is that the Ram brand has done away with the available 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 and supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 engines in favor of the available 3.0-liter Hurricane and High-Output 3.0-liter Hurricane engines. The regular-output option produces 420 horsepower and 469 pound-feet of torque, while the high-output variant makes 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque.

The engine changes ultimately lead to a drop in maximum towing capacity – from 12,750 pounds1 to 11,570 pounds when properly equipped – but it’s still capable of big-league hauling for campers, larger watercraft, and more.
