The Dodge Hornet SUV will arrive with two powerful engines. The standard choice is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine making a hearty 265 horsepower, offering standard AWD, and pairing to a nine-speed automatic transmission. According to manufacturer estimates, this powertrain can take a 2023 Dodge Hornet from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 6.5 seconds.
Meanwhile, the available choice is a first for our new Dodge vehicle inventory: a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It uses an electric motor and a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine to make 285 combined horsepower and 383 combined pound-feet of torque, providing standard AWD and unique features like PowerShot mode for a burst of 25 extra horsepower.
The 2023 Dodge Hornet will offer performance features like the beloved Dodge Performance Pages, a G-Force meter, and paddle shifters, plus the available Track Pack with Alcantara-trimmed sports seats, Brembo® brake calipers, 20-inch black wheels, and an advanced Dual-Stage Valve Suspension system. With an agile size, an aerodynamic body, and plenty of power, the 2023 Dodge Hornet is ready to show the competition what crossover SUV thrills can feel like.
