As much as buyers of automobiles care about things like fuel efficiency, powerful engines, and even aesthetics, perhaps the most important criteria in car-buying these days is safety.  It's not enough anymore for a car to just go fast or look awesome; it needs to keep a family safe, as well. 

Organizations like the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) make sure that consumers know which vehicles on the market are the safest.  The IIHS calls those vehicles "Top Safety Picks," and they are the vehicles that score top marks in crash tests across the board.

The Chrysler Group, which includes Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Fiat, boasts eleven of these Top Safety Picks, and that's something that we are particularly proud of.  Whether it be the 2012 Chrysler 200 or the 2012 Jeep Wrangler, San Antonio drivers can get the safest vehicles on the road right now by simply choosing from the following list.

Last year, we had nine models make the list, but we're proud to be adding to that total and hope that 2013 gives us even more opportunities to offer supremely safe cars to our buyers.  We'll keep innovating, and hopefully that will translate to even safer transportation.  It is, after all, a pretty important criterion.
