2012 Chrysler 300

2012 Chrysler 300 at San Antonio Dodge Chrysler Jeep

Few things are as American as the family sedan, and few family sedans are as modern and luxurious for the price as the Chrysler 300.  Totally redesigned for 2011, the 2012 Chrysler 300 actually boasts some pretty major upgrades, including a new eight-speed automatic transmission to pair with the V6, as well as a terrific all-wheel drive option.   As far as full-sized sedans are concerned, the upgraded 300 is comfortable, quiet, and powerful; all things customers look for when stepping onto the San Antonio Dodge Chrysler Jeep lot.  Those three things aren't always easy to put together in an affordable package, but we've done precisely that with the latest 300.

With six different trims in all, there's no shortage of options for customers looking into the 300.  Three of those - the base, the Limited, and the 300S V6 -pack the 3.6-liter V6 engine that pushes out 292 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque.  The base comes with a five-speed transmission, but the other two models run an eight-speed automatic.  Rear-wheel drive is standard on the base, but all-wheel drive is an option for the other V6 models.

As far that glorious V8 engine is concerned, we do three trims there, too: the 300C, the 300S V8, and the SRT8.  The first two, which pack 363 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque, are both very popular on our lot, but the SRT8, which returns to the lineup this year after a brief hiatus, is a performance model that goes all the way up to 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque.  All six trims offer a range of features and upgrades, all of which add luxury to a vehicle that's already a whole lot of fun to drive in the first place.

Families taking the safety of the vehicle into careful consideration need not worry; the 2012 Chrysler 300 is among the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's most recent batch of Top Safety Picks.  That means it scored the highest possible score of "Good" in frontal-offset, side-impact, and roof strength crash tests, and it also means that the 300 is one of the safest overall vehicles we sell.  With features like antilock brakes, stability and traction control, and loads of airbags, the car can't help but be safe.  Customers with kids can drive this car with a peace of mind knowing how well-protected those children would be in an accident.  That's why we all care about safety in cars, and it's why our engineers worked so hard to make this one of the safest automobiles on the road.

The 2012 Chrysler 300 is known for its powerful drivetrain, its quiet cabin, and an interior so luxurious that many reviewers agree that it's unmatched in its class.  This is a vehicle that we here at San Antonio Dodge Chrysler Jeep are very proud of, and the customers that have bought the 300 since the 2011 update have absolutely fallen in love with them.  Given the opportunity, we think you will too, which is why we encourage shoppers to take a trip down to our lot and take one for a spin.  It's a truly all-American vehicle guaranteed to live up to its name, which is great because living up is exactly what owners of the 300 tend to do.
